OUTDOOR ACTION TRANSLATION

PRESENTATION

I help outdoor brands find the right words in French. My expertise covers three key areas:

The result

Accurate, engaging texts that sound natural and are perfectly optimised for search engines.

I’m also the founder of Wild Lines, a women’s outdoor magazine exploring surfing, snowboarding and mountain culture. I write inspirational stories and build meaningful editorial collaborations.

WHO AM I?

NOT JUST A PASSION, IT'S MY WAY OF LIFE

I grew up near the Alps, cycling and skateboarding around town, and snowboarding with friends on weekends.

Studying in Bordeaux introduced me to surfing, and I later I moved to Annecy for a year-long internship at Salomon. Back in the mountains, I began to discover climbing and mountaineering. I also joined the French Alpine Club for snowboarding trips with snowshoe ascents. It was pure powder bliss!

My path then led me to Columbia Sportswear in Geneva and Burton Snowboards in Innsbruck, where I started ski touring and mountain biking.

Family life eventually brought me to the Basque Country, where I still live today. Surfing has taken centre stage, but the mountains continue to call. I often escape to the Jura for cross-country skiing on the Grande Traversée (GTJ) or for ski touring. In the summer of 2024, I trekked across the Basque Country. I’ve also hiked in Madeira, along parts of the Grande Traversée des Alpes, and sections of the Tour du Mont Blanc.

I also love hitting the road on two wheels. My most memorable ride was from Lyon to Athens. And my next adventure? The Camino de Santiago.

Here are some of the brands I have teamed up with over the years:

Clémence is an exceptional marketing translator, transcreator, editor and copywriter. We truly appreciate her commitment to every project, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as being a fantastic team player. Her flair for rhythm combined with her excellent mastery of the industry lingo make her one of our most trusted linguists.

Perfect, it’s the first time in years that I haven’t had to change anything at all.
